01. THE ORIGIN
The name "Karna" is taken because the whole idea is inspired from the characteristics of the son of the sun, Karna, from the Mahabharata.
Just as he was known for his spirit of giving, we hope people will not let this spirit die.
02. THE MISSION
Karna is a platform for the whole INDIA.
Our primary goal is to support people who are in need of huge funds for medical emergencies. We promote their stories to help them get crowdfunding.
Beyond medical aid, we also help finding lost people by creating groups to share details.
03. HOW IT WORKS
Those in need visit our website and fill a form sharing their story.
We contact them, confirm the details, learn more about their condition, and create a nice profile.
We share that profile on our official social media handles with a donate link. And our site also has a blog section where we cover detail story of people we helpped in real life.
04. TRANSPARENCY
How transparent will this be? Every state update will be public.
We will use platforms like "Ketto" etc. to collect money. At the current level, we are not going to handle money directly.
05. THE PHILOSOPHY
There will be no discrimination between who pays more or less because each donation comes from the heart, so all are the same to us.
Any person who registers as a donor on our site gets a "KARNA-CERTIFICATE". This is an acknowledgement of their beautiful heart.
06. THE GOAL
Our goal is to help 100 souls in 2026.
